Glasgow Mental Health cafe delights fans by reopening weeks after flood damage

It's good news for food fans in the south side after it was revealed that a popular café has reopened after it was recently flooded.

Patricia's Coffee Bar, which first opened in 2020 and is located on Victoria Road, closed in the lead-up to Christmas after problems with frozen pipes led to flooding.

Posting that they would be shut 'until further notice', they've since revealed that they were 'open again' describing it as a 'New Year miracle' on Instagram.

The café in Govanhill is a favourite of locals and was opened by five siblings after they tragically lost their mother in 2015; named for her, they often run mental health events to help those in need of it chat more about their problems.

Re-opening at the weekend they are back serving up their delicious cakes, bakes and coffees.

Posting on Instagram they wrote: "It took a few days but we have a New Year miracle! Come tell us everything we've missed."
