A Drumchapel man was scared witless after being alerted to the presence of a snake in his garden.
The reptile slithered into bus driver William Mitchell's property on Friday while he was at work.
The corn snake was spotted in his garden by his grandson.
William took to social media to post footage of the snake in a bid to identify the owner, commenting: "Did someone in the drum lose a snake outside my back yard today?"

The granddad later revealed to The Daily Record that he tracked down the owner - a resident living nearby. Despite doing so, he thinks the snake might still be on the loose.
He told the Record: "It belonged to the people in the next close to me. I was at work at the time and it was my grandson that recorded it.
"After the video was taken the snake started hiding in the bins.
"I got a message from a girl next door and she said she'd lost one a while ago so it looks like she was the owner.
"My grandson didn't go near it so we're not sure if the owner has it back yet. It might still be on the loose".
