A man who died after being hit by a bus in Glasgow city centre has been named.
John Robertson, 39, was pronounced dead at the scene after tragedy hit on Argyle Street at 12.05am on Monday, June 5. He lived in Glasgow but was a native of Skye, where his family still live.
The tragic incident happened on Argyle Street, near to Gray Street and the Park Bar. The 44 year-old driver of the Volvo bus and his passengers were uninjured.

Police remained at the scene until around 5am on Monday morning.
Enquiries remain ongoing as officers try to establish the cause of the crash.
Sergeant Nicholas Twigg from the Road Policing Unit at Govan said: “Our thoughts remain with Mr Robertson’s family and friends at this time.
“We are continuing with our enquiries to establish the circumstances and the cause of the crash.
“I would urge any witnesses, or anyone with information or personal footage who hasn’t yet spoken to police to contact 101 quoting reference number 0008 of 5 June.”
