Glasgow man found seriously injured on Clydebank street as police launch probe

Police have launched an appeal for information after a Glasgow man was found seriously injured on a Clydebank street.

The 29-year-old was found by a member of the public on Saturday, September 3 at around 5.30pm. He was found on Queens Quay, near to the West College Scotland, with serious injuries.

The man was then rushed to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment, where his current condition is unknown.

Police are asking anyone who may have noticed any kind of disturbance in the area to come forward.

Detective Constable Nicola Neeson, of Clydebank CID, said: “Our enquiries into this incident are ongoing and I would urge anyone with information to get in touch.

“We would be keen to speak to anyone who may have seen or heard any disturbance in the area, or any local residents who have any information that could assist our investigation to contact us.

“Anyone with information should call police via 101, quoting reference 2708 of 3 September, or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
