A Glasgow woman who attacked her partner moments after berating him for having teeth removal surgery has walked free from court.
Stephanie Campbell turned on Richard Walker at their home in Ibrox on November 12 last year.
The 49-year-old hit Mr Walker with a wooden stick and threw ladders at him after saying that he looked like a "grandfather" following the operation.
Campbell pled guilty at Glasgow Sheriff Court assaulting Mr Walker to his injury as well as a police officer and a custody officer.
The first offender also admitted behaving in a threatening or abusive manner.
She was put on a structured deferred sentence for good behaviour and will appear at court again in May.
Sheriff Matthew Jackson QC said: "You need to take care of yourself to make sure this does not happen again.
"It's noted that you are doing alternative therapy and it will be comforting for your partner that you are seeing someone else.
"It seems you were in the grip of trauma and had alcohol for the first time in years."
An earlier hearing was told Campbell returned home around 7pm in a "bad mood."
She informed Mr Walker that "nobody cared about her."
Prosecutor Lauren Sangray said: "She told Mr Walker that he looks like a grandfather and that he is not the same 'Ricky' that she could remember.
"This was because he underwent teeth removal which was a significant dental procedure.
Campbell picked up ladders from the hallway but Mr Walker was able to retrieve them from her grasp.
Miss Sangray added: "She picked up a wooden stick and walked to Mr Walker and struck him with it across the body and arms.
"She lashed out with her hands which caused Mr Walker to suffer small grazing on his cheek."
Mr Campbell was able to disarm Campbell again before she regained possession of the ladders, threw them at him which "narrowly" avoided contact.
The attacker then went on to throw and table and a television.
Campbell called Mr Walker a "f***ing c***" before he fled to her mother's home nearby.
Campbell was arrested before she attempted to bite PC Jessica White to the leg.
While in custody she also grabbed the private area of another officer over her clothing.
Miss Sangray stated that the incident at the house was also captured on CCTV.
Ian Sievwright, defending, told the court that it was "out of character" for Campbell and that Mr Walker wants her to return home.
A non-harassment order, restricting contact between the pair, was removed by sheriff Jackson at the sentencing.
