Those travelling northbound on the M73 are facing huge delays after a multi-vehicle crash caused three lanes to close.
The incident occurred at around 8.10am near to junction 2 and police were quick on the scene.
Officers are still at the incident as the three vehicles are waiting to be recovered.

It is unclear whether anyone was injured following the collision.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 8.10am on Thursday, 20 April, 2023, officers were called to a report of a three vehicle crash on the M73 northbound near junction 2.
“Arrangements have been made for the vehicles to be recovered.”
