Heartfelt tributes have been paid to a young Glasgow man who died suddenly last week.
Martin McIntosh passed away on Thursday, November 24, leaving his friends and family heartbroken. The 28-year-old has been described as a 'beautiful human' and a 'legend' by those who have been left bereft.
In the wake of his untimely death, the cause of which is not yet known, a fundraising page has been set up to help Martin's family cover funeral costs, reports GlasgowLive.
And in the three days since the fundraiser was set up on Friday, November 25, more than £6,000 has been raised from an original £5,000 target, with people eager to share their memories of their loved one online.
One person wrote: "What a true legend a boy that lit up any room and made everyone laugh until we meet again. Rest in peace."
Another added: "A smile that would light up an entire room, and one of the nicest guys I’ve ever met."
One friend posted: "So sad to hear, always brought good vibes and energy to any room. RIP my man."
Another said: "You were a unique island in a sea of blandness, will miss our banter "Ed", thoughts to your family."
The GoFundMe reads: "I've set this up to try and alleviate any funeral and bereavement costs.
"Anyone who knew or was around Martin will know how much of a great guy he was. He brought immeasurable happiness to those around him and will be sorely missed.
"Rest in peace you beautiful human."
