A two-year-old boy was rushed to hospital after his pram collided with a car on a busy Glasgow road earlier today.
Emergency services raced to Great Western Road in the West End of the city at around 8.10am after the toddler's pram was hit by a Volkswagen Golf.
The youngster was taken to the Royal Hospital for Sick Children to be checked over.
It is believed the tot did not sustain any serious injuries and no-one else was injured in the collision.
Police locked won the major road for several hours whilst enquiries were underway.
Pictures from the scene showed the child's pram lying in the middle of the road with officers standing nearby.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "A two-year-old boy has been taken to the Royal Hospital for Children after the pram he was in was in collision with a Volkswagen Golf in Great Western Road, near to Lincoln Avenue, around 8.10 am this morning, Thursday, 27 January 2022.
"According to medical staff the child did not sustain any serious injuries. No-one else was injured.
"The road was closed for around three hours and enquiries are ongoing."
