A Glasgow pensioner has booked his 38th trip to the same hotel in Majorca after falling in love with the place back in 1981.
Jimmy Dolan will be returning to the TUI SUNEO Haiti in Ca'n Picafort in June but will sadly be without his beloved wife Patricia for the first time.
The 86-year-old former professional singer first stayed at the hotel by complete chance 42 years ago, after he won a singing competition and decided to book a family holiday to Majorca.

Their prize hotel was changed before they were due to travel, which meant fate led Jimmy and his family to the TUI SUNEO Haiti, and the rest is history.
In the last 42 years, the family has since stayed at the hotel an incredible 38 times.
Jimmy will be visiting once again in June but the trip will mark the first time that his wife will sadly not be joining the family.
Like her husband, Pat treasured her holidays to TUI Suneo Haiti, but was told she wouldn’t be able to travel after her diagnosis of Parkinson's Disease.
On her last visit in 2015, the staff at the hotel went out of their way to make her stay as comfortable as possible, and despite Mrs Dolan being in a wheelchair, the family was still able to enjoy one last holiday in Majorca together.
On his next trip, Jimmy will be travelling with daughter Ellen, also known as Elaine, who is now 57, and has been going to the hotel since she was 15.
Ellen herself has a close bond with the hotel and even keeps in touch with the hotel’s manager. Ellen has now introduced her daughter, Maria, to TUI Suneo Haiti Maria and she has been 12 times already.
The family and hotel staff are so close that after Maria celebrated her First Communion in 2014, the hotel celebrated with a presentation for her, as well as some gifts.
