A 20-strong gang of thugs tossed a brick and stones at a customer when they ran amok in the car park outside The Forge in Parkhead last night.
The teenage yobs launched a traffic cone at a man in the restaurant around 7.30pm before staff called police.
An eye witness watched in horror as the shocking scene unfolded, with one of the young thugs "up close and personal" in the man's face.

She told Glasgow Live: "I witnessed a group of approximately 20 young boys and girls who were challenging a man at the restaurant. The situation quickly escalated, and the group began throwing objects, including a brick, which narrowly missed hitting a female
"The staff at the McDonald's contacted the police, who arrived promptly and chased the man down towards the retail park.
"From my observation, the man appeared to be attempting to move the group away from him when they began throwing stones and a traffic cone. At one point, a young boy was up close and personal to the man's face, and he moved the boy away from him. This caused the group to accuse the man of assaulting the boy, which further escalated the situation."
The latest incident comes just days after First Bus released revealed that plain-clothed police officers will be drafted onto services through Pollok after a rise in anti-social behaviour.
The witness added: "As a concerned citizen, I am deeply troubled by the dangerous and irresponsible behaviour of the youths that are responsible for these attacks.
"The statement issued by First Bus highlights the severity of the situation, with staff and passengers being put at risk as a result of these attacks. I am particularly concerned about the impact that these attacks may have on the local community, with services 3, 10, 57 and X8 all being impacted if the attacks continue."
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were made aware of a group of youths causing a disturbance at The Forge on Gallowgate, Glasgow around 7.35pm on Sunday, April 9.
“Officers attended and the group dispersed.
“Enquiries are ongoing.”
