Glasgow flat disturbance sees man rushed to hospital with serious injuries

A man has been rushed to hospital after a disturbance at a flat in Glasgow.

Police and emergency services raced to the scene on Dumbarton Road in Scotstoun after the alarm was raised around 11.35pm last night (March 11).

Locals reported seeing a police cordon being thrown up outside the property, with forensic officers also spotted in attendance until the early hours of this morning.

A 33-year-old man was taken to Glasgow's Queen Elizabeth University Hospital with serious injuries.

His present condition is unknown.

Police say that enquiries into the incident are ongoing.

A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: “Around 11.35pm on Friday, 11 March, 2022, officers were called to a report of a disturbance at a flat on Dumbarton Road, Glasgow.

"Emergency services attended and a 33-year-old man was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital with serious injuries. Enquiries are ongoing."
