Five Glasgow fire crews raced to the Gorbals this afternoon after reports of a blaze in a top floor flat.
Residents of the Gorbals Housing Association were reportedly evacuated from the block of apartments on Crown Street shortly after the alarm was raised.
In pictures shared with Glasgow Live , people can be seen on nearby Cumberland Street looking on at the scene as fire appliances arrived at the fire.

Further images show rescuers being lifted to the top floor property via a fire appliance's crane.
Scottish Fire and Rescue service confirmed with Glasgow Live that five fire crews were in attendance at Crown Street for reports of a 'dwelling fire' shortly after 12.53pm this afternoon, Sunday February 6.
