Glasgow Film Festival has been nominated for the Best Big Screen Event of the Year award by Screen Daily.
The UK silver screen celebration will battle it out with the premiere of Top Gun: Maverick, the Irish premiere of Kenneth Branagh’s Belfast and more.
The festival tweeted: Absolutely delighted that Glasgow Film Festival has been nominated for Big Screen Event of the Year at the @Screendaily @BigScreenAwards!

The beloved event isn't the only Glasgow nomination.
The Vue Cinema at St Enoch Shopping Centre also made the list for the best cinema with over 25 screens.
An independent jury, which includes some of the biggest names in the film industry, will now vote on each category.
The Big Screen Awards ceremony will be held on November 24 at the Brewery, London.
