Glasgow favourite Absolute Roasters moves from west end to new city centre spot

A popular coffee and brunch spot has announced it is finally opening a new spot in the city centre.

The team at Absolute Roasters had built a large following their time on Hyndland Street in the west end but were forced to move in February this year.

At the time they broke the news that they'd be moving to a new store at 10 Waterloo Street close to Central Station.

And it appears, they have now been able to finally open as they revealed that they have unveiled their original sign at the new spot.

Posting on their official Facebook page, they wrote: "That’s the OG sign back up. Waterloo Street is official. We’re open from 7:30 - 15:00.

"Takeaway Only, Coffees, Nitro Cold Brews, Smørrebrød, In House Patisserie, in the hustle of Glasgow City Centre. Thanks everyone who popped in today for the unofficial doors open, we can’t wait to welcome you to our new home."

Fans flocked to the post to offer their congratulations.

One wrote: "Well done Meg and all. Good luck."

While another added: "Good luck in your new venture. We both miss you being in Hyndland Street."

Back in February, they also revealed that they were still also looking for another west-end location.

At the time they wrote: "It's not a goodbye to the west end, it’s a see you soon, we’ll be back, we’re still searching for the perfect space, albeit without a brunch kitchen.."
