Easter is officially here with kids across Glasgow now off for the next few weeks having finished up on March 31 with the bell ringing at 2:30pm.
And thankfully the weather has been pretty decent in recent days showing that spring is well and truly here.
This morning, for many people across the city and surrounding area, it's a dry start to the week with a mix of blue skies and cloudy weather.

For the rest of the week, it's set to be dry with a few rainy spells on Wednesday (April 5) but thankfully you'll be glad to know it's light showers.
But what does the weather look like this weekend? Here's what you need to know.

Saturday, April 8
You'll be glad to know that according to the Met Office and BBC Weather, it is meant to be dry and bright day.
On this day, there will be highs of 14C and low of 5C with the sun coming out from 7am until 8pm.
And in even better news, the chances of rain is at zero per cent making way for a lovely spring day and a bright start to the weekend.
Sunday, April 9
The Met Office and BBC have once again predicted sunny intervals - however there will be rain throughout much of this day.
According to the BBC's hour by hour forecast, the sun will come out at around 7am and stay out until 10am with the rest of the day set for rain from 11am until midnight with much of it carrying on until the next day, Monday April 10.

- Monday, 3 April - Friday, 14 April 2023 (Spring Break)
- Schools return on Monday, 17 April 2023
