An iconic Glasgow food and drink spot has been crowned the best in its region at the prestigious UK-wide awards ceremony.
The National Pub & Bar Awards, hosted by monthly on-trade publication Pub & Bar, aims to rewards the trade for 'overall retail excellence, best practice and individual entrepreneurship' across the UK’s 94 counties.
And a number of Scottish venues picked up top prizes, including a Glasgow west end institution.

Fending off competition from dozens of others pubs and bars, The Upstairs Bar at Ashton Lane's Ubiquitous Chip has been anointed with the best in South West Scotland title.
Sharing their joy at the award on social media, the Ubiquitous Chip team said: "We could not be prouder of our amazing bar team after winning Best Bar & Pub in Glasgow and competing in the national draw we have since been awarded overall best in South-West Scotland.
"The Big Pub plays a big part in bringing a good time to so many! What a cracking start to the Summer.
"We cant wait to celebrate with you all ! Come join us for a drink".
The National Pub & Bar Awards brought together 94 pubs and bars from across the UK, each one having been awarded the title for the best in their county.
The Frogmill – 'a characterful 16th century pub located in the heart of the Cotswolds' – has been deemed the UK’s best pub and bar.
