A major investigation is underway following the death of a man in Dennistoun in the early hours of this morning.
Emergency services have corned off Whitevale Gardens after a 39-year-old was found seriously injured shortly after midnight, sadly he was pronounced dead at the scene.
This morning a heavy police presence remains in the area as officers piece together the circumstances surrounding the man's death, which is currently being treated as "unexplained".
A Police Scotland spokesperson told Glasgow Live: "The death is being treated as unexplained and enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances. A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal."
