An inquiry will be held into the death of a rapist at Low Moss prison.
Paul Dowds died in hospital after collapsing while on remand at the Bishopbriggs jail.
Now Glasgow Sheriff Court will hear details of the circumstances leading up to his death at a Fatal Accident Inquiry (FAI) in the new year.

The 45-year-old was a convicted sex offender who was sentenced to seven years in 2007, and previously flouted the terms of the sex offenders' register by going AWOL in his native Greenock for almost a week.
It is understood that he was suffering from a medical condition when he died while awaiting trial on an assault charge
The preliminary stage of the FAI is scheduled to take place in Glasgow on December 19, with the full set to run over two days between March 30 and 31.
A Fatal Accident Inquiry is mandatory in Scotland when a prisoner dies in custody and aims to establish if anything could reasonably been done to prevent the death.
