Glasgow couple behind popular Chulo's cookies opening new shop in Finnieston

Finnieston is set to welcome an exciting new foodie addition to the area with the arrival of Chulo's.

Earlier this summer, we reported Chulo's Cookies - owned by Rebecca Paterson and Jordan Rankin - will soon be opening its first shop after building a loyal following by selling at local cafes.

You might have enjoyed their mouth-watering stuffed cookies at the likes of Scran in Dennistoun, at food markets, pop-ups or by postal order.

In the last few days, Rebecca and Jordan have announced the new Chulo's will be 'coming soon' to 936 Argyle Street, in the former Guitar Workshop.

Work is well underway at the new Finnieston spot (Instagram @chuloscookies)

Sharing their exciting update on social media, the Chulo's team said: "Thank you for your support so far. We are working very hard alongside our amazing tradesmen to make our shop perfect and we cant wait for you to see it finished!

"We plan to have MORE THAN 6 FLAVOURS at all times so be ready to see some new ones and old faves return! We will be serving up our cookies alongside our own Chulo’s house blend coffee."

Now in an update on September 12, Chulo's announced an opening date. Writing to Instagram they announced: "Friday 16th at 10am Chulo’s Shop @ 936 Argyle Street will be open for the first time!

"We are so excited for you guys to see it and we will have 12 flavours of stuffed cookies & coffee."
