A 13-year-old teenage boy has been charged after a laser pen was shone at a Police Scotland helicopter on Saturday evening.
The boy carried out the 'dangerous' act at around 8.15pm on April 1. Luckily, nobody was hurt in the incident.
Now, the police is warning others not to carry out similar acts.

A spokesperson said: "A 13-year-old boy has been charged after a laser pen was shone at the Police Scotland Helicopter, around 8.15pm on Saturday, 1 April, 2023.
"Thankfully these actions did not result in anyone coming to harm however, the dangers of these actions on pilots are obvious and are robustly investigated on every occasion.
"We would like to remind people to please refrain from this dangerous activity."
