Glasgow contestant on BBC Three Glow Up: Britain's Next Makeup Star final next week

After impressing the judges in this weeks episode, Glasgow contestant Yong-Chin has made it to the final of BBC Three's Glow Up: Britain's Next Makeup Star.

The Glaswegian MUA (make-up artist) has been putting in stellar performances in every week on the show, and has secured a place in the final alongside two other MUAs. She will face off in the all-important final episode, where one last Face-Off decides the winner.

According to the programme information, the episode will consist of "presenting a masterclass to influential experts from across the industry including the likes of; Terry De Gunzberg (Make-up pioneer and owner of the brand By Terry), Liz Hambleton (Space NK), Oscar nominated film and TV MUA Amanda Knight and Model Munroe Bergdorf to name just a few.

"The next day in Glow Up Studios, with no red chairs to worry about all the MUAs start on an equal footing and with everything to play for the MUAs take on their final Creative Brief, make-up metamorphosis. They must show the judges how far they have come in the competition and what they are capable of.

"To add extra pressure, our judges have one final surprise for the MUA’s, another guest judge who will be taking our MUAs final photo of the competition, renowned famous photographer, Rankin. Once the Creative Brief is over, the judges must decide which MUA has fallen at the last hurdle and which two head into the final Face Off, with only one being crowned winner of Glow Up, Britain’s Next Make-Up Star."

Yong-Chin said in the previous episode that she wanted to "prove herself" and be the "next big thing in make-up" saying her parents instilled in her to do "everything 100% to your best effort". She credited her drive as having coming from her parents who made their way over to Glasgow from Korea.

With the winning title on the line, can Yong-Chin beat her rivals and become Britain's Next Makeup Star? Only time will tell.

The final episode of Glow Up: Britain's Next Makeup Star will air on Wednesday, June 29 at 8pm on BBC Three. All the previous episodes are available for catch-up on BBC iPlayer.
