Excellerate Services UK has acquired Glasgow-based GS Associates, which offers professional cleaning and support services to clients in retail, distribution centres and roadside services.
This acquisition will increase Excellerate’s national footprint, adding to existing client base in the corporate built environment, distribution, logistics and manufacturing sectors. The company also plans to leverage GSA's technology (Velocity) to ensure "a more dynamic operating model".
With her existing management team all remaining, GSA owner and chief executive Gwyneth Fleming will provide support for the integration process.
Established in 1997, GSA employs more than 3,600 staff across 1,100 sites.
GSA clients will maintain the the owner-managed service delivery, but with a larger UK reach and added capabilities, according to a statement.
Fleming said: “It was important to me that the GSA brand and our teams could continue growing and building on the success achieved to date.
“I truly believe that being part of the Excellerate family will enhance the opportunities going forward and wish everyone every success in the future.”
London-based Excellerate UK is part of the broader Excellerate Group, which has operations across Africa and the UAE.
