Glasgow City boss Leanne Ross was left frustrated at a breakdown in communication between officials during her side's game against Celtic on Friday evening.
The top-of-the-table SWPL clash eventually ended in an enthralling 2-2 draw, with Amy Gallacher, Maria McAneny, Amy Muir, and Nicole Kozlova all getting on the scoresheet.
The game wasn't short of any controversy because, in the lead-up to Gallacher's opener, which came with less than two minutes on the clock, Celtic's Lucy Ashworth-Clifford looked to have encroached into City's half straight from kick-off.
Nothing was done, though, which frustrated Ross: "We could see that she was 20 or 30 yards into our half," she said (RecordSport).

"The fourth official said that there had been a communication breakdown between himself and the three officials on the pitch. But how three of them can’t see someone 30 yards into our half, I don’t know."
The breakdown in communication comes not long after Ross spoke personally with Willie Collum about a previous controversy, also against Celtic, a few weeks ago: "I have had a call with Willie Collum," revealed Ross.
"That was on the back of the Scottish Cup tie here a few weeks back, where we had a goal disallowed.
“I thought that was the ideal time to raise our frustrations because we had won the tie, so no one could accuse us of sour grapes.
“But it is frustrating.
"It was a private conversation between Willie and I but it was about the actions of the officials at that time to award the goal and then a few minutes to take it away and he agreed their actions indicated it was a goal."
The 2-2 draw kept City at the top of the SWPL table, albeit on goal difference.
