The M74 has been closed to all vehicles heading northbound after a vehicle fire.
The motorway is blocked at Junction 1A Polmadie Road following the incident, the traffic diverted off the slip road.
It is not currently known if anyone was injured in the incident, which Traffic Scotland confirmed occurred at around 1.35pm this afternoon.
Glasgow City Council's Traffic Control and Management Department announced the ongoing road closure, with major delays on Polmadie Road, Kilbride Street, and New Rutherglen Road.

All road user have been asked to avoid the area.
A statement from the service reads: "Due to an earlier vehicle fire, the M74 northbound is closed to all vehicles at Junction 1A Polmadie Road.
"This has resulted in long delays on Polmadie Road at its junction with M74 and Kilbride Street/New Rutherglen Road.
"Avoid this area if possible."
