Glasgow is not short of a good brunch or two with several cafes in the west, east and southside of the city being hailed as some of the best.
And whilst many of us have our favourite 'go to' spots when it comes to the breakfast-lunch hybrid meal, it seems that a popular choice for many when in Shawlands is Strange Brew, with there always being a queue to get in - and don't worry, it's worth the wait.
Taking to Instagram to show off its latest addition, the award-winning cafe - which is currently ranked at the number two spot in the Glasgow cafe category - has said how much it appreciates locals having voted for them as the top spot.

Speaking in the video, the owner of Strange Brew, who also co-owns Mesa in Dennistoun, Laurie Macmillan, said: "Hi everyone. Thank you so much for voting for us again for best brunch. It's not taken for granted as is really appreciated.
"Thank you MyShawlands."
The cafe, which is also a much-loved coffee spot selling Glasgow-based Dear Green Coffee, also took home a 'Travellers Choice 2022' award from Tripadvisor themselves alongside other local businesses including Soup's On and the Cake Lady and Scran who are set to re-open their cafe this month in their new location by the Barras.
According to the travel review website: "Travellers' Choice recognizes businesses that earn consistently great reviews. Travellers' Choice award-winners are among the top 10 per cent of listings on Tripadvisor."
They add: "Tripadvisor Travellers' Choice honours select accommodations, attractions and restaurants that consistently demonstrate a commitment to hospitality excellence. "
