GLASGOW'S Buchanan Bus Station has been closed due to an ongoing police incident.
SPT revealed the station is currently shut to all passengers while police deal with an emergency incident - which has been revealed as a potential suspicious item.
The travel firm said no one can access to station and no buses can enter or leave it.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Buchanan Bus Station is closed following a report of a potential suspicious item around 1.10pm.
"Killermont Street is closed to traffic and pedestrians. The public is advised to avoid the area. EOD (Explosive Ordnance Disposal) has been notified and enquiries are ongoing."

First Glasgow said: "Due to an ongoing emergency incident at Buchanan Bus Station, services are currently unable to enter or leave the station which is currently closed to passengers. Emergency diversion information will be posted as soon as possible."

Meanwhile, a Stagecoach spokesperson added: "We’ve had to temporarily divert X77 at Buchanan Street Bus Station due to the building being closed.
"We’re so sorry if this impacts your journey! We’ll update our information as soon as we can."
Police Scotland has been contacted for comment.
