A second Glasgow contestant will be aiming to rise to the top on a brand new season of Glow Up: Britain's Next Make-up Star, and he aims to show that 'anything is possible'.
Hosted by Maya Jama, Glow Up returns for its fourth series as 10 aspiring make-up artists are tested by leading industry experts in varied high-stakes Professional Assignments from TV to theatre, fashion to front covers and on-line beauty campaigns.
At the Glow Up Studio their talents are pushed to the limit with creative make-up transformations and each week the two MUAs who least impress series judges, Val Garland and Dominic Skinner, go head- to-head in a Face Off elimination, putting their technical skills under the spotlight.

After 8 weeks, the last MUA standing is crowned Britain’s Next Make-up Star, winning a contract assisting some of the world’s top make-up artists.
21-year-old Adam is a freelance make-up artist (MUA), who is originally from Glasgow (where his family lives) and who now lives in Liverpool, wants to show his culture in his work.
Adam is from a Pakistani Muslim background, and says: "‘I want to show other Pakistani Muslim boys and girls that if I can do makeup, anything is possible!"

Growing up in Glasgow, everyone else in his family was an aspiring to become a doctor or lawyer but Adam felt differently - he didn’t feel at home until he had a make- up brush in his hand!
Adam is a self-taught freelance MUA, and his typical style is Glam make-up.
His looks are always on trend and Adam is not afraid to embrace his culture and include it in his work.
Adam wants to be a make-up artist to the stars in the US & dreams of seeing his creations at the Met Gala.
Adam’s family have been extremely supportive of his decision, which he says has broken down barriers in parts of his community by going against the ‘norm’.
It wasn’t always easy for his family, but they have been “amazing”. Adam sadly lost his father to an unexpected illness in 2021.
Following his passing, Adam received numerous messages from his late Father’s Uber passengers telling him how his dad would brag about how proud he was of his son and his make-up journey.
He even has a TikTok video of his Father visiting his home country of Pakistan, walking past a make-up shop in the mall; addressing Adam and saying one day he would have make-up shops all over the world – that was validation for Adam after years of struggle.
He says the timing has never felt more right for him to take the plunge and do this and he wants to inspire other Pakistani boys and girls to pursue their dreams and push boundaries.
In episode one, the make-up artists (MUAs) travel to Birmingham for their first professional assignment, a social media campaign for a sport and fitness brand.
This week’s guest judge, the company’s styling manager Ivy Weir-Ikpeme, challenges the MUAs to produce a gym-friendly, natural make-up look for their diverse customer base.
Healthy looking skin and colour matching are a must, plus they need to add one fierce ‘fitspiration’ feature that stays true to the campaign’s brief, but stops the user (from scrolling) in their tracks.
