Glasgow Batgirl filming to shoot at old court building, gay bar and NCP car park

Three additional Glasgow locations have been confirmed for Batgirl filming - including a gay bar and a former court building.

Production for the HBO Max flick recently moved to Partick for scenes at the Glasgow University Archive Department building on Thurso Street, which saw it transformed by set dressers into a Gotham City fire station.

Meanwhile film crews are set to return to the city centre - after a lengthy stint in the Trongate area - to shoot scenes on Glassford Street, St Andrews Street/Turnbull Street and Hanover Street/George Square over the next few weeks.

The same day will also see filming take place at the NCP car park on Mitchell Street.

February will also see production for the movie will move to the former Glasgow District Court at the corner of Turnbull Street and St Andrew's Street.

The B-listed building, which was also the former home of the Central Police office, closed back in 2008.
