Glasgow's Bar Soba shut it's doors for the final time yesterday after they announced the shock closure just days before.

The beloved west end restaurant posted a video of the empty venue on social media after their last day in operation.

Spice Girls smash hit 'Goodbye' can be heard in the background of the clip as the eatery is given an emotional send off.

The pan-Asian restaurant wrote on Facebook: "It’s a wrap.

"Thank you to all our lovely customers for a great final weekend at Byres road.

"We will all miss working here and the great team we have made."

Loyal customers quickly flocked to the comments to show their support the beloved west end staple.

One wrote: "You'll be missed by a lot of people. Gutted it's come to an end for this iconic Byres Road bar."

Another agreed: "So many great days and nights at Byres Road - sad to see it close. Let’s keep supporting the group."

Despite the sad news of its closure, Bar Soba has reminded lovers of the brand that the venues in Merchant City and Mitchell Lane are still open.
