AIRPORTS across Scotland have warned travellers of disruption after a rare red weather warning was issued for central Scotland.
Storm Eowyn is set to batter the country with strong winds, rain, and snow on Friday, January 24.
Due to the storm, we reported how the Met Office has issued a red weather alert for central Scotland.
Ahead of the extreme weather conditions, both Glasgow and Aberdeen Airport are warning passengers to check the status of their flight with their airline before travelling.
The forecaster said "very strong winds" would cause "very dangerous conditions and significant disruption on Friday" across central Scotland.
The travel hub has also said that any decision to cancel or delay a flight is taken by the airlines and not the airport.
