Easter holiday-makers across Scotland are facing travel chaos today as dozens of flights were axed due to staff shortages affecting airports across the UK.
Both Easyjet and British Airways (BA) have been forced to slash flights over the past two weeks due to staff shortages as a result of coronavirus.

BA have said that passengers were warned in advance of the cancellations with the airline reducing its schedule until the end of May to limit cancelling flights at short notice due to staff shortages.
Easyjet customers have also suffered from cancellations after the airline axed flights from London Gatwick to Edinburgh and Glasgow.
Similar to BA, Easyjet said that all cancelled flights were being made “in advance to give customers the ability to rebook on to alternative flights."
These cancellations will affect excited holiday-makers with many families wanting to travel abroad for the school Easter holidays especially due to the Covid travel restrictions being dropped.
This led to a surge in bookings for airlines who have suffered massively over the last two years due to the coronavirus pandemic but staff shortages have impacted them.
The issue is partly caused by difficulties in recruitment and getting their security checks processed after thousands of jobs were cut during the pandemic.
