For many, it will be their first time leaving the country for a holiday since the start of the covid pandemic.
This may cause some anxiety for those who may not remember the process of moving through the airport and security.

One important aspect of planning a trip is choosing where at the airport to park your car.
The answer will depend on the length of your trip, as well as how much you are willing to spend.
Read on for a full round-up of the parking options available at Glasgow Airport.
Long Stay
Glasgow Airport's Long Stay car park will be the most suitable option for the majority of travellers this summer.
For anybody flying out for a week or two, it will be the cheapest and safest way to park their car.
The Long Stay car park is located on Arran Avenue, and is about an eight-minute walk to the terminal.
There is also a frequent shuttle bus, which can take you from the car park to the terminal in about five minutes.

Short Stay
For those who will be departing for a significantly shorter time, the Short Stay car park will likely be the most appropriate option.
Located directly opposite the terminal, it will take you just a few minutes to walk on foot from your car.
Prices start at £5 for a stay of less than 20 minutes, and go up to £36 for 24 hours.

Fast Track
According to Glasgow Airport, its Fast Track service is its "most exclusive parking product offering, created for your convenience".
The airport states that it is "ideal for those departing from Glasgow Airport for a short break or business trip", and is geared towards those looking to access the terminal and security as smoothly as possible.
It is the closest and quickest way to the terminal out of all the Glasgow Airport car parks.
To access the Fast Track car park, head to car park two and head up to level 2.
Prices start at £8.80 for an hour, and go up to £75.00 for two days, though booking advance can lower the cost.

Valet Parking
For those with a bit more cash the spend, the airport's Valet Parking service may be worth the hefty price.
It is recommended for travellers departing for a period of seven days or more, and bookings must be made at least 24 hours in advance.
To use the service, drop off your vehicle at the airport's dedicated Valet Parking zone located in Car Park 1, which can be found by following the dedicated signage.
Once entered, pull into one of the parking bays and a member of the dedicated Valet drivers team will greet you.
