A woman has revealed how she is often mistaken for her daughter’s sister by strangers.
Glamorous Michelle Lynn, 40 is often mistaken as her daughter's sister by strangers - even though Terry is 24.
The mum, who lives in Louisiana, US and works in data management, attributes a number of factors to her youthful look.
Michelle says she thinks her healthy lifestyle - with six workouts a week - has helped keep her look young.
She has even been asked for ID whilst at a bar with her daughter.
She said: “If I’m out with Terry and she calls me ‘mum’, strangers have to double-take. Sometimes people are in shock and grab their friends and say ‘can you believe it?!’

“Terry loves it and is always bragging to her friends. We go out together and people never believe I am her mum.
“Once I got asked for ID and she didn’t. It was crazy.”
The mum says she still feels 25 and refuses to cover up as sexist expectations demand - and can often be found tight clothing, mini skirts and low cut tops.
She said: “I have worked hard for my body so I will show it off. I have been accused of dressing this way to get attention from men, but this isn’t the case.
“I do it for me. I like to look and feel beautiful which is why I wear makeup and do my hair all the time.
“Sometimes Terry and I even share clothes. But our styles are different, I like to look pretty and wear anything that shows off my figure whilst keeping it classy.
“I go for a sexy and classy vibe whereas Terry’s style is quite witchy. I think society expects women to dress a certain way when they reach their 30s but I refuse.
“I stay with the trends and wear clothing that suits my body. In my head I still feel 25!”
Michelle insists there isn’t a secret behind her youthful looks but she does live a healthy and balanced life.
She works out six times per week and drinks water with honey and lemon. But other than that, she doesn’t swear by any expensive creams or miracle serums.
She said: “As a mum, you don’t focus on your appearance, you focus on your kids. But as my son Baydon, now 15, got older I had more free time so started working out.
“I decided to change my body for the better. Now, I am frequently complimented by strangers who think I am 27 or 28.
“It is flattering but it can be embarrassing at times. I have had guys in their early 20s approach me and ask for my number but I tell them I’m old enough to be their mum.
“They think I am lying to get them away, it’s crazy. My son also doesn’t appreciate the comments made by his peers, he thinks it is embarrassing that they think I am hot.
“So I stay away from his friends to avoid him getting upset.”
