Newcastle United dug in to hold Premier League leaders Arsenal to a goalless draw at the Emirates Stadium.
The Magpies extended their unbeaten run to 13 league games, and also kept their sixth straight clean sheet in all competitions. Newcastle have now gone 1,045 minutes without conceding a goal, while Nick Pope has registered a league-high 10 shutouts.
Arsenal also failed to score in a Premier League match for the first time this season, although a dramatic late save from Pope to thwart Eddie Nketiah was required to deny Arsenal victory.
Chris Wood was sent through on goal at the other end, but lacked composure as he failed to pick out a pass at the decisive moment, to squander one of their few attacking chances.

Newcastle produced a resilient defensive performance, as the Gunners failed to break them down. There was nine yellow cards in what proved to be a scrappy game, which threatened to boil over when Arsenal had a late claim for a penalty turned down.
Granit Xhaka appealed for a handball on Jacob Murphy in the dying stages of stoppage time, but VAR opted against awarding a penalty to the hosts. This prompted a furious reaction from Mikel Arteta on the touchline, which Eddie Howe didn't take too kindly too.
