Allan Saint-Maximin salvaged a draw for Newcastle United with a sensational 90th minute volley against Wolverhampton Wanderers at Molineux.
Wolves drew first blood when Ruben Neves rippled the bottom corner in the 38th minute with a low driven shot from outside the box.
Raul Jimenez thought he had added a second when he stretched to bundle home Pedro Neto's low cross. Newcastle players immediately surrounded referee Peter Bankes and after a lengthy VAR review, the goal was ruled out after Neto was penalised for pushing Ryan Fraser in the build-up.

Newcastle rescued a point in the latter stages as Saint-Maximin capitalised on a poor clearance from Hwang Hee-Chan to devastating effect. Jacob Murphy was released down the right, and after attempting to loop the ball over a Wolves defender, Hwang haplessly sliced his clearance.
Saint-Maximin was primed on the edge of the penalty area and unleashed a ferocious low volley into the bottom corner. It was the Frenchman's first Premier League goal in 18 matches and it helped extend Newcastle's unbeaten start to the new season (W1 D3).
