Leeds United completely capitulated in the second half as they were condemned to a catastrophic 5-1 defeat against Crystal Palace at Elland Road.
Javi Gracia's men squandered the chance to climb five points clear of the relegation zone, and instead finish the weekend in 16th place.
The Whites had started strongly with Luis Sinisterra and Brenden Aaronson both coming close inside the opening five minutes. And Leeds' pressure took its toll when Patrick Bamford broke the deadlock with a header from Aaronson's corner in the 21st minute.

Palace equalised just before the break when Leeds switched off at the back to leave Marc Guehi completely unmarked from a set piece.
Eberechi Eze's free-kick delivery was flicked on by Jeffrey Schlupp, and Guehi stayed onside to poke the ball beyond the onrushing Illan Meslier.
The Eagles punished Leeds for a lacklustre start to the second half by scoring twice in quick succession. Luke Ayling gave the ball away cheaply with an aimless clearance, and Olise picked out Jordan Ayew inside the box to cushion his header into the corner.
Eze then got on the scoresheet when he latched onto a delicate pass from Michael Olise to dispatch a composed finish beyond Meslier.
Javi Gracia responded with a triple change just before the hour-mark, but Odsonne Eduoard ended the game as a contest 21 minutes from time.
Olise was afforded an abyss of space to tear through the Leeds midfield and slotted a ball through to Eduoard to finish with aplomb.
Ayew bagged his brace when Will Hughes' shot deflected into his path. He was kept onside by Rasmus Kristensen, and fired past Meslier to compound a miserable afternoon for Leeds.
