Give us your Newcastle United XI as Eddie Howe faces tough Wolves selection dilemma

Newcastle United will play host to a travelling Wolverhampton Wanderers at St. James' Park on Sunday afternoon as they look to climb closer to a place in the Premier League's top four.

After a poor run of form over their last five league games, which has seen them take three draws and two back-to-back losses, Howe will be rueing who to play in his starting XI.

It appears as though Fabian Schar is set to return from injury after missing the Manchester City clash, with Howe confirming that the centre-back had trained well this week.

Bruno Guimaraes was also back in training with 'no problems' according to Howe after suffering an ankle injury against Manchester United in the Carabao Cup Final.

Striker Alexander Isak's fitness has also been a point of contention in recent weeks, with the Swedish international still not fully fit and likely to make appearances off the subs bench.

Howe confirmed in his press conference on Friday that the plan for him was continuing 'to build him up', likely leaving Callum Wilson to continue starting up front for this weekend's bout against Wolves.
