Leeds never do things easy, as their fans will know - and that continued in that tradition today with the pulsating 2-2 draw at Cardiff City in the FA Cup on Sunday afternoon.
A horrific first half-hour saw the hosts go two to the good with goals from Jaden Philogene-Bidace and Sheyi Ojo offering a potential upset. Leeds just weren't at the races and inspiration was needed from elsewhere if they were to progress in the Welsh capital to end their FA Cup nightmares. That came on the hour mark, with Rodrigo marking his entrance after just six minutes with a header that beat Jak Alnwick all ends up. The Whites kept coming in their droves until the last few minutes, with Mateo Joseph firing wide when he should've scored.
Cardiff then went down to 10 and Leeds were offered the chance to score from twelve yards after Joel Bagan kept a Junior Firpo shot out with his hand, only for Rodrigo to miss the ensuing penalty. Firpo then came forward again, bursting into the box, and drilling a ball across the area to find Sonny Perkins lurking to tap the ball home and send the away end into raptures.
