Gisele Bündchen has reportedly welcomed a baby boy with her boyfriend, Joaquim Valente.
According to PEOPLE, while the newborn’s first name remains unknown, his middle name is River—a touching tribute to nature.
The Brazilian supermodel has continued her tradition of giving her children water-themed middle names.
She is already mum to daughter Vivian Lake, 12, and son Benjamin Rein, 15, whom she shares with ex-husband Tom Brady.
It’s unclear when the 44-year-old and Valente welcomed their son, but TMZ previously reported that both mother and baby were “happy and healthy” .
In the wake of her new bundle of joy, her ex-husband Tom Brady “wishes her nothing but the best” as per Page Six.
The former couple split in October 2022 after 13 years of marriage. Bündchen was first linked to jiu-jitsu instructor Valente in June 2023, a year after their divorce.
Brady—who is preparing to call his first Super Bowl broadcast—was reportedly “stunned” when news of Bündchen’s pregnancy surfaced in October.
A source previously told MailOnline that the NFL legend has found it difficult to date, still feeling the “sting” of her new relationship.
In addition to his children with Bündchen, Brady is also dad to 17-year-old Jack, whom he shares with ex-girlfriend Bridget Moynahan.
The supermodel previously called herself a “bonus” parent to Jack, and the two are said to remain close even after her split from Brady.
Her pregnancy was first reported in October by People that Bündchen and Valente, 35, were “happy for this new chapter in their life and they’re looking forward to creating a peaceful and loving environment for the whole family.”
The former Victoria’s Secret Angel initially sparked romance speculation with the jiu-jitsu instructor in November 2022, shortly after her divorce from Brady, when they were seen on holiday together in Costa Rica.
They were first spotted at the popular Koji restaurant in Provincia de Puntarenas, where they were joined by Valente’s brother, Jordan, along with Bündchen's children.
However, the two didn’t officially start dating until June 2023, People confirmed in February.
“They started out as great friends first. She’s very private about this and wanted to keep it quiet while they got to know each other,” an insider told the outlet at the time.
At the time, multiple sources confirmed the evening was not romantic, with one telling Entertainment Tonight: “Gisele and Joaquim are not dating. Joaquim and his brother, Jordan, are Gisele and her son’s martial arts teachers.
“Jordan and Joaquim were both there with Gisele in Costa Rica.”
In a March 2023 interview with Vanity Fair, Bündchen spoke publicly about her relationship with Valente for the first time and addressed speculation about their romance.
Instead of directly commenting on their reported romance, the model emphasised that she and Valente had become “great friends”.
“Jordan and Joaquim were both there with Gisele in Costa Rica.”
