UPDATE: Layla has been found safe and well
A 12-year-old girl has gone missing from her home in Swansea, prompting a police appeal for information. Talailah, who goes by the name of Layla, was last seen in the Port Tennant area of the city at around 7.30pm on Saturday, August 20.
South Wales Police have now released a description of the young girl in the hope there may have been sightings of her.
They say she is around 5 foot 7 inches in height and has blue braided hair. She was last seen wearing a blue and white tie dye t-shirt and a black hoodie, grey joggers and red and black high top trainers.

An appeal from South Wales Police reads: "Help us find Talailah (goes by Layla). Layla, aged 12, has been reported as missing and was last seen in the Port Tennant area yesterday at around 7.30pm.
"She is 5ft 7' with black and blue braided hair. Layla was last seen wearing a blue and white tie dye t-shirt, a black hoodie, grey joggers and red and black high top trainers. Anyone who may have seen Layla, or who has information which will help us find her, is asked to contact us, quoting occurrence number 2200283062."
