Girl, 14, missing for nearly a week now thought to be in Nottinghamshire

A 14-year-old girl who has been missing for almost a week is now thought to be in Nottinghamshire, according to police. Kimberley Chege was reported missing from the Shirebrook area on Saturday, July 23, with officers concerned for her safety.

It is believed Kimberley is in Nottinghamshire with Nottinghamshire Police now taking over the investigation, after she was initially reported missing by Derbyshire Police. She is known to frequent the area outside the council house in the city centre and McDonald's in the city.

Kimberley is described as black, 5ft 7ins tall and of large build. She has very long braided hair and brown eyes and was last seen wearing a beige dress. If you have seen Kimberley or have any information about her whereabouts, please contact Nottinghamshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 784 of July 26.
