A girl was rushed to hospital with leg injuries after being hit by a car.
Merseyside Police, an air ambulance, road ambulance an advanced paramedic all attended the scene in Formby at around 5.40pm on Thursday, March 23. Emergency services found that a girl, 12, had been hit by a car on Harrington Road.
Officers have confirmed that the driver stopped at the scene and assisted police. They also added that the girl suffered "serious" leg injuries and was taken to hospital.
