An 11-year-old girl has been taken to hospital following a collision involving a van in Keyworth. The incident happened in Wolds Drive, Keyworth. Officers closed the road following the collision
A spokesperson for the the police said the incident happened at around 4.35pm on Monday, October 10. The child was taken to hospital with serious leg injuries. The road reopened at around 9pm on October 10.
Inspector Usha Madaraa, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “Wolds Drive in Keyworth was closed by officers following a collision involving an 11-year-old girl and a van.
“The collision happened in Wolds Drive, outside the Co-op store, at around 4.35pm yesterday (Monday 10 October 2022). The girl was taken to hospital with serious leg injuries. The road was fully reopened at around 9pm.
“If anyone has any information about what happened they are asked to contact the police on 101, quoting incident 557 of 10 October 2022.”
