Detectives have launched a manhunt after a schoolgirl was sexually assaulted close to a adventure playground in Portsmouth.
A man grabbed her arm as she walked along a path out of Stamshaw Park on Monday, 29 August at 4.30pm.
He then made inappropriate comments before touching her over her clothing.
The girl managed to free herself but the man followed her.
He fled on foot once she reached Rudmore roundabout and called police.
The girl is now being supported by specialist officers, Hampshire Police said.
The suspect is described as being black, aged between 18 and 25, of a slim build and with black hair.
He was dressed in black, apart from a white t-shirt with a black vest over the top.
He was also carrying a small black bag.
Hampshire Police said in a statement: “We have been conducting enquiries since this incident was reported to us and now have these images of a man, seen in the area at the time, who we would like to speak to in connection with our investigation.
“We would like to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time who saw what happened, the moments leading up to it or the aftermath.”
