Giovanni van Bronckhorst has simply told Barry Ferguson he must win as Rangers manager.
The former Ibrox boss - on TNT punditry duty - offered the straight-to-the-point advice when quizzed on any pointers he could offer to the interim manager.
Ferguson was appointed as temporary manager until the end of the season after Philippe Clement was sacked last month.
The former club captain has taken charge for two matches so far as manager, a win over Kilmarnock before defeat against Motherwell ahead of the trip to Istanbul.
Speaking ahead of the Europa League match between Fenerbahce and Rangers, Van Bronckhorst stated Ferguson simply must win, that was his only advice.
He said: "Win the game."

Speaking to club media ahead of the match, boss Ferguson opened up on Leon Balogun's fitness, stating: "It was a bit too much for him [Balogun] to make the game tonight in terms of starting.
"But hopefully, in the coming days, he'll be available for selection."
Ferguson has made two alterations from Saturday's game, with John Souttar and Connor Barron coming into the starting lineup.
Ferguson teased a potential change of setup for tonight's first leg: "I don't want to give too much away," he said.
"You've got to be respectful of the opponent. I'm sure you might see a few surprises tonight."
