Giovanni reveals clever details fans might not have noticed in Strictly dance

Rose Ayling-Ellis and Giovanni Pernice made fans smile during Musicals Week on Strictly Come Dancing with their super-sweet performance to Love Is An Open Door from Frozen.

And Giovanni has since shared the intricate detail in their dance that fans might have missed.

The pro dancer took to Instagram Stories to share split-screen images of how he and EastEnders star Rose incorporated movements from the Disney film number into their quickstep.

Strictly favourites Rose and Giovanni played Anna and Prince Hans from the movie right down to some of the hand gestures used by the animated characters during the romantic ballad including the 'jinx' entwined fingers and forming a love heart.

Towards the end of their date in the film Hans proposes to Anna and she accepts.

And the moment acted out by Rose and Giovanni got judge Motsi Mabuse and viewers watching at home rather carried away.

Asked for her thoughts on the dance Motsi replied: "I felt the joy when you said yes to the wedding."

And she laughed: "I hope I get an invitiation guys... call me."

Viewers flocked to Twitter to say she'd just mirrored their thoughts.

Kirsty Walker said: "Motsi speaking for us all there I think: Rose & Gio wedding please."

And @coxyhockeychick enthused: "Yes Rose! #YesToTheWedding lol motsi #Strictly"

All of the judges were dazzled by the performance, including guest judge and musicals legend Cynthia Erivo.

Cynthia started her reply in sign language for Rose, who is the show's first deaf contestant, before adding: "You're joyful, beautiful.

"You managed to get all the characterisation and the mood and the feeling all in one."

Rose and Giovanni also used sign language at the start of the routine.

Last weekend fans were in tears when their dance featured a silent moment in honour of the deaf community.

With romance rumours often rife between the celebrities and their professional dance partners, behind-the-scenes Rose is being supported by her long-term boyfriend.

The actress from Manchester, who was the BBC dance show's first deaf character, has been loved-up with Samuel Arnold for seven years.

To celebrate her 27th birthday Rose went out for a bite to eat with her dancing partner at Gola in Fulham, which describes itself as an 'Italian Restaurant from Puglia with a touch of aphrodisiac ingredients.'

Giovanni later took to Instagram with pictures from the birthday treat, showing him smiling alongside Rose and Samuel.
