Giorgos Giakoumakis continued his post-Celtic goal glut but the Greek forward suffered heartbreak little known during his time in Glasgow.
The 28-year-old was no stranger to a late goal in Glasgow, with some of his best moments in a Hoops shirt coming with strikes in the dying moments for Ange Postecoglou's men. Giakoumakis had notched double fifgures for goals this campaign before upping sticks for Atalanta United in the MLS in January, a move that has seen the Greek international turn heads with his finishing ability.
And 'The Tank' as some United fans are calling him was on hand to net a cool brace against Chicago Fire, with former Celtic man Andrew Gutman getting the ball rolling for the away side after just 29 minutes. Giakoumakis added to that tally in the 55th minute, latching on to a header and netting to bring the game level to 2-2 just after the break.

The towering forward was on hand again less than ten minutes later as he charged on to a through ball, rounding the goalkeeper and firing home before his celebrations were cut short by an offside call.
The 28-year-old was made to wait before his glee could be reignited as the striker was in line and the goal stood. It looked as if Atlanta would take all three points until the 89th minute before fellow countryman Georgios Κoutsias netted for Chicago Fire with seconds left on the clock.
It was a game that also saw two red cards as Giakoumakis' side remain in fourth place after 14 games.
