Former Celtic striker Giorgos Giakoumakis has taken a cheeky dig at former teammate Moritz Jenz after the defender's title "congratulations" message.
A 2-0 win over Hearts in the capital sealed an 11th title in 12 years for Ange Postecoglou's side and their second since the Australian's arrival in Glasgow's east end, as goals from Kyogo Furuhashi and Hyeongyu Oh were enough to seal the deal with four games to go and spark wild scenes at Tynecastle and back at Celtic Park. A host of former Parkhead stars have joined the celebrations and sent well wishes to the current crop of talent including Odsonne Edouard and Josip Juranovic.
However, Jenz's attempt appears to have fallen flat with Greek striker Giakouamkis. The centre-back saw his loan spell at Celtic Park cut short after struggling to claim regular game time, and is now on the book at Schalke and looking to help the club avoid the drop from the Bundesliga.
Following confirmation that Celtic were champions of Scotland Jenz sent a congratulatory message to the club on Instagram - while also tagging Giakoumakis in the message. The 28-year-old didn't take the well-meaning comment well - after leaving for Atlanta United earlier this year.
He responded on his own Instagram with a tongue-in-cheek response. Reposting Jenz's story he added the sarcastic caption "thanks for the tag bro" with a laughing face emoji.
