Rangers fell to a shock 2-1 defeat in their latest Premiership match with St Johnstone.
The Light Blues had an astonishing 17 shots on goal in the first 30 minutes as they bombarded their hosts with chance after chance, but there was no end product. Fashion Sakala cracked the crossbar with their closest effort while Antonio Colak was unfortunate not to turn in a ball across the box. They were then made to pay for that as James Brown's first career goal went down as a tremendous effort from outside the box to leave the Ibrox side stunned.
Nicky Clark then landed a hammer blow by doubling the hosts lead and a James Tavernier reply could do nothing to soften their misery. Already their were calls for manager Giovanni van Bronckhorst to leave amid waning performances and that will only grow know they're seven points behind in the title race. Here are three things we learn Rangers players in Perth.

Defensive boost
The return of Ben Davies to the centre of defence is very timely for his manager who's been left to rue countless blows in that department.
So much responsibility has been placed on teenager Leon King and with Connor Goldson, Filip Helander and John Souttar all injured, keeping their summer recruit from Liverpool fit is paramount. That'll be little solace today.
Under pressure
If the calls for van Bronckhorst had threaten to quieten down, now they will be ramped up to full volume.
This is a disastrous result for the Rangers manager and making up seven points on a relentless Celtic side looks an ominous task in current form. Fans are not happy and that's an understatement.
Title ambition
Speaking of their title race, where exactly does this leave the Light Blues' chances of bringing the trophy back to Govan?
Well, in a deep hole. Celtic have come up with the goods again and again while this type of result has threatened for a while at Rangers. Performances need a drastic change.
