Gino D'Acampo's wife 'standing by him 100 per cent' amid misconduct allegations

The wife of embattled GIno D’Acampo is reportedly standing by him “100 per cent” amid allegations of sexually inappropriate and intimidating behaviour.

TV chef D’Acampo, 48, was the subject of a recent ITV News investigation which uncovered concerns about his “horrendous” and “distressing” conduct, including using sexualised and aggressive language on various TV sets spanning 12 years.

While the Italian native has “firmly denied” any wrong-doing and is said to be determined to clear his name, Jessica, his wife of 23 years and with whom he shares three children, is said to have been a “rock” to him.

“Gino's wife, like many of his family and friends, are furious at how he's being hung out to dry. Jessica is standing by him 100 per cent,” a source told the MailOnline.

“If anything, all of this has just brought them even closer together than they were before. They've always been best pals as well as husband and wife so this has hit them both hard. But Jessica knows the truth.”

They added to the publication: “Gino's always been a cheeky guy. It's what she loves about him and what ITV encouraged him to be like from day one. That's the part of his character that she fell for and what she adores about him most.”

They further noted that while D’Acampo’s “world has collapsed around him”, he is “determined to clear his name and come through all of this.”

The Standard has contacted a representative for Gino D’Acampo for comment.

Among those who have reportedly distanced themselves from the TV presenter is fellow celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay.

Ramsay reportedly stopped talking to him after raising concerns about his “disgusting” behaviour two years ago.

The two starred together on TV show Gordon, Gino and Fred’s Road Trip and Ramsay is said to have been left “horrified” by what he witnessed.

He was equally less than impressed when it was revealed that D’Acampo’s son Luciano was dating his daughter Tilly.
